Nearly a year after the birth of withe bison’s puppy Wakinya Pejuta
Mahpiya (lightning medicine cloud), the Moodrings give to birth their
white calf. The birth is full of placenta and blood and the shy
pre-mooings start to spread around right outside the womb dilating and
separating the six tracks of the band from Portland. The Moodrings bring
us back to that indian pantheon made of Wendigos and antroporphous
animals, sometimes undervalued, but even in these days rich of an
incredible charm and able to hit the listener with precision.
